Countdown To Christmas Day 6- Moulinex Kettle With Temperature Control (Gifts for Foodies)

It’s day 6 of my Countdown To Christmas. There are just 19 days left until Christmas day, that means that there are 18 shopping days left. Have you figured out the perfect gift for everyone on your Christmas list? Don’t worry if you haven’t, I’m here to help! Make your list, check it twice and head out to buy all of my fabulous gift ideas. You can view all of my Countdown To Christmas posts here. All of the gifts on my lists are gifts that I would love to give (and receive) so you can feel confident that they are the best of the best.

Sew Creative Blog's Countdown To Christmas Moulinex KettleI am a tea drinker, more specifically I’m a DAVIDsTEA drinker. One of the things that I always found interesting about DAVIDsTEA is that they have a recommended brewing temperature for each of their teas. Did you know that different teas should be brewed at different temperatures for best flavor? I found this fact interesting but frustrating. How is one supposed to heat their tea kettle to 95 degrees celsius? Wait until they think it’s close to boiling, but not quite boiling and then turn it off? That was my tactic for years, but it wasn’t a very good or accurate one. Then I discovered the Moulinex Electric Kettle with Temperature Control (while reading this review post on Multi-Testing Mommy) and my tea drinking life was forever changed!

You can set the temperature that you want your water to heat to in 5 degree increments. The kettle has two different options, with one option the kettle will turn off when it reaches your desired temperature, with the second option the kettle will maintain the temperature that you have set your kettle to (fabulous if you are having a tea party).

The kettle looks beautiful on your counter with it’s stainless steel finish. I think it makes a fabulous gift for anyone who loves a good cup of tea or coffee brewed in a french press. It’s also a great gift for foodies because it brings water to a boil much faster than boiling water on the stovetop. I know it’s on my “all I want for Christmas” list.

The Moulinex Kettle with Temperature Control is available at Canadian Tire.

It would be lovely paired with tea from our DAVIDsTEA Gift Ideas list.

I’ll be back tomorrow with Day 7 of my Great Gifts Countdown To Christmas.

Tell me… Do you enjoy a good cup of tea or french press coffee? Have you ever paid attention to the recommended brewing temperature? Do you still have people on your Christmas shopping list to buy presents for?

*A big thank you to Moulinex for sending me Moulinex Kettle to test out. All thoughts and opinions on this blog are 100% my own. I approached Moulinex to take part in my Holiday Gift Guide because a temperature control kettle is gifts that I would love to give (and receive).
