My grandmother was always canning fruits and vegetables in Kentucky, where I grew up. One of my fondest memories is the way she had row after row of things canned she had canned in mason jars sitting on the shelves in her kitchen. This quilt brings back so many fond memories of my childhood and my dear sweet Grandmother, who taught me how to cook, garden, sew and of course, quilt! You can see why I simply flipped over this fun and whimsical quilt that looks just like her farmhouse kitchen did!
