I love overnight oats because they are affordable, healthy and easy to make. All you have to do is mix the ingredients together and refrigerate overnight! There is an endless combination of ingredients to mix in so you won’t get bored with the same thing every morning.
Here is the base recipe:
Use a one-to-one ratio of oats and milk, yogurt, or any other dairy substitutes. Example: 1/2 cup of rolled oats, 1/2 cup of yogurt, 1/2 cup of milk. Adding chia seeds will thicken the mixture so adjust accordingly.
Mix ingredients and toppings together and refrigerate overnight (at least 4 hours) and enjoy the next morning!
Tip: Some toppings can be added in the morning to add a crunch (e.g. nuts or granola)
