Salmon With Blistered Tomatoes- Meal Planning Made Easy With @eMeals

Organization doesn’t come naturally to me. I have a messy desk at work, a messy closet in my bedroom and for years I was really bad with meal planning. When I had kids, that had to change. It was no longer feasible to not get dinner on the table until 9:00 because we hadn’t planned in advance. If you’ve spent much time on my site you know about my menu board system, a program that I’ve tried to stick to as much as possible because for the sake of my little ones hungry tummies.

Many of you have told me that the menu board looks great, but that coming up with recipes to stick on the board is too daunting of a task for you… Well friends, today is your lucky day. I recently discovered a FABULOUS program called eMeals.

When you sign up for eMeals once a week you will be emailed 7 dinner ideas with the recipes for each meal and a shopping list of all of the ingredients and how much of each ingredient you need for the recipe.

You can chose what type of meals you would like to be sent to your inbox. Options include Classic Meals, Clean Eating, Paleo, Mediterranean, Slow Cooker, Low Carb, Low Fat, Portion Control, Natural and Organic, Simple Gourmet, Gluten Free and Vegetarian.

  1.  Once a month you can change what type of meal plans you want to be receiving. Chose a Slow Cooker plan one month and a Low Carb plan the next.
  2. The shopping list is broken down by what department you would find the ingredient in- Produce, Meat and Seafood, Refrigerated, Canned & Packaged and Miscellaneous.
  3. Next to each ingredient it tells you which recipe number that ingredient is used in. I love that feature because if you don’t want to follow the meal plan for every night you can omit the ingredients easily by crossing out the meal numbers you aren’t going to prepare.
  4. You get to chose how many people you are cooking for, 2 or 4+.
  5. eMeals is designed to save you money! By sticking to the plan, you limit the extra spending on miscellaneous items. They also utilize items multiple times a week to reduce the waste of throwing out food and incorporate your local grocery store sales into the plan. eMeals members save an average of $1,000 a year because of the smart meal planning, no waste, and store sales coordination! Here is more info from financial expert Dave Ramsey on how eMeals saves you money.

The regular price for eMeals comes out to $1.11 a week if you purchase a 1 year membership. If you are looking for an even better deal purchase now and use coupon code CYBER35 save 35% and pay just less than $0.75 a week for the program.

Want to see the delicious meal I made last night with my eMeal’s recipe plan? I am receiving the Mediterranean plan this month. Last night’s recipe was for Salmon with Blistered Tomatoes and Israeli Couscous with Grapes, Green Olives and Goat Cheese. The recipe was DELICIOUS and took less than half an hour to make.

eMeals Salmon with Blistered Tomatoes and Israeli Cous Cous with grapes, green olives and feta 3I saved tons of time coming up with recipes for the week by printing out the menu plan, cutting out the recipes and sticking them to my menu board, like this:

For me, paying $1.00 a week to get to try out 7 new recipes and have some make a shopping list for me is well worth the value. Head on over to eMeals, take a peek through different meal plan samples and use code CYBER35 when you make a purchase.

It’s meal planning made easy with eMeals!

Tell me… Do you use a meal planning system? Does figuring out what’s for dinner come naturally to you?
