She Changed Her Decor To Shabby Chic And Made The Ultimate Piece! (CHEAP!)

Whether your decor is Shabby Chic or not, this is such a stunning soft piece to make for your wall! I can see this on a wall that is painted taupe or gray! It’s so easy and cheap to make, yet looks very expensive.

Shabby chic style is also known as cottage style. It became popular in the late 1990s and still has a strong fan club. Many people love this romantic and vintage style of decorating. If you decide to decorate your house with shabby chic interior or furniture, you can use things that you already have in new ways, and this will surely save you some money.

I’ve always loved the soft vintage look of shabby chic! I guess it touches the feminine aspect of my soul. Shabby Chic calms my spirit and brings about a lot of nostalgic feelings from my childhood.

I have a combination of shabby chic and eclectic decor in my home and I love the way it’s mixed up. I get the best of both worlds! My bedroom is definitely shabby chic and it’s the place I feel most relaxed and comfortable in my home. It’s like a haven. That’s where I put this lovely piece of art and it is perfect!

After finishing this craft project, I decided to make one of these lovely pieces for my best friend’s new home, as a house warming gift, and she was over the moon about it! Yay…DIY does it again! I’m sure that I will gift this to someone again, since it was such a big hit with her!

Watch how Cla Cali does this in her step by step tutorial so you can make one of these for your home!
