Our beloved pets mean the world to us and it’s important to understand what they are trying to tell us.
We’ve all had that time where our dog was doing…“dog things” that seem to make no sense. Obviously, the first thing that comes to mind is that we wish we could understand what they’re thinking, right?
Well, you’re not alone. It’s common for people to misread their dog’s behavior, but the great news is that it’s actually much easier to understand dog body language than you realized!
Knowing if your dog is happy or under duress can make all the difference in how well your dog relates to other dogs and to you. There are actually many signs — they’re just not commonly known.
As soon as you’ve learned some of these tell-tale signs things become much clearer. While watching your dog now probably feels a bit like watching a movie in another language, once you’ve learned how to read your dog’s behavior it becomes as clear as watching a movie in English!
Dogs can read each other without much effort at all. It comes naturally to them, but we of course are not born with those same gifts. To really gain an understanding of your dog and take control of their behavior, especially if they’re a dominant dog, you must understand their body language.
The Bright Side enlightens us about how we can understand our dogs language in the video attached below.
