If you have some old chairs that have lost their pizzazz, here’s a great solution for giving them a new updated look!
Refurbishing old chairs is one of my favorite things to do because I get such a rush when I see them finished and there’s no remnant of the old chair left. It’s like you went to a furniture store and bought a brand new chair! It’s like magic!
I cannot tell you how many times I’ve wished I had the guts to stop and pick up a curb side chair on trash day. As the saying goes “One man’s trash is another’s treasure.” A bit of paint, a remnant fabric and a bit of know-how can make refurbishing an old chair an easy DIY project.
Although, I must confess that there have been a few that were left at the dumpster at the condo I live in and I grabbed them right away!
I’ve got some of the coolest looking chairs in my place. A person would never guess what they looked like before I got my hands and paint brush on them.
Dining room chairs old and out of date? Dining room sets cost a lot of money and they aren’t something that usually gets replaced because they don’t wear out. They sit there in your house year after year and finally even decades later you realize that they just don’t go with your style anymore.
How about taking matters into your own hands and making lemonade out of lemons? With paint and some fabric you can do just that!
