When He Puts These Boards Side By Side What He Does Next Is An Item You Need In July!

Don’t you love all of the awesome DIY projects you can make out of pallet wood? It’s free and the fabulous projects are endless!

I wanted to do something fun with a wood pallet (since I get them free) so I decided to do a DIY wood pallet American flag project! It was pretty easy for the most part, but I had my husband do the cutting and nailing part. I’m still not sure if I want to hang it up  because it looks good just leaning against the wall outside!
We are hosting our annual 4th of July party this year.  It’s a casual gathering of friends to kick off  a great 4th of July celebration, and enjoy spending special time with our neighbors.
I love hosting this party, because I can pull out all of my Americana decor. I think we all love the rustic Americana style. There’s nothing more classic and representative of the holiday than our wonderful red, white, and blue!
For many years, I have used one of my traditional American flags as a backdrop for our food tables, but I was always afraid of it getting damaged, and, I wanted something a little more worn looking.  This year I decided I was going to make a rustic wood flag!
I’m sharing the simple, low cost rustic wood flag DIY tutorial by Dan the Maker Man. Watch how he does this in his step by step tutorial so you can get busy making your wonderful rustic American Flag!
